11 SIGNATURE STYLES | Turning Personal Style Into Brand Discovery
Art Direction · Editorial Design · Fashion Storytelling · Content Strategy · Product Marketing
Client: Textile Reverie
Platform: Blog + Social Media
Project: Editorial Content Series / Social Campaign
Scope: 11 character-driven fashion stories
THE PROJECT
11 Signature Styles is the second installation of Textile Reverie's Modern Mona Lisa Muses, a content series exploring creativity, identity, and self-expression through beauty and fashion.
Following the first installation, Makeup as Medium, which introduced the Muses through mood-driven makeup looks, this series shifts the focus to personal style.
The goal: create engaging editorial content for creative entrepreneurs while giving small and emerging brands, primarily Etsy sellers, a meaningful way to be discovered.
Editorial → Inspiration → Product Discovery → Small-Business Promotion
THE IDEA
What if you could understand someone's personality by looking at her wardrobe?
I developed 11 fictional creative personalities, each with a distinct aesthetic, lifestyle, color palette, and fashion language.
Rather than creating a traditional product roundup, I built each look around a character first. Products then become natural extensions of her personality.
This approach gives independent products something a traditional advertisement often lacks:
Context. Personality. Story.
THE CHARACTER
Miss Frizzle The Creative Maximalist
Miss Frizzle is playful, expressive, curious, and unapologetically original.
Her visual world combines art-school maximalism, saturated color, pattern mixing, vintage references, statement accessories, and unexpected styling. Her personality became the foundation for the entire look.
Her wardrobe includes print mixing, color blocking, vintage finds, statement collars, and unexpected shoes.
FROM CHARACTER TO CONTENT
THE MISS FRIZZLE LOOK
01 — CHARACTER
Define personality, lifestyle, and creative identity.
02 — AESTHETIC
Translate personality into color, fashion, and visual direction.
03 — PRODUCT
Curate independent products that naturally belong in her world.
04 — EDITORIAL
Build the story through imagery, typography, and narrative.
05 — SOCIAL
Create a visual system that can extend into digital and social content.
The result is a repeatable framework that turns one creative concept into an ongoing content series.
PRODUCT DISCOVERY
For Miss Frizzle, independent products such as statement earrings, patterned socks, and a vintage-inspired brooch become part of her signature style.
Instead of simply saying “shop small,” the editorial shows readers why a product belongs in a particular lifestyle.
Fashion inspiration → Character → Product → Independent Brand
That connection creates value for both the audience and the small businesses being featured.
DESIGNED FOR VERSATILITY
The concept was created for Textile Reverie's blog and social channels, allowing each character to become multiple pieces of content:
Blog Editorials
Full character stories and product discovery.
Social Content
Carousels, character introductions, outfit inspiration, and product features.
Brand Spotlights
Individual Etsy sellers can be highlighted within the larger story.
The result is a flexible visual system that can generate ongoing content from a single creative concept.

THE RESULTS
11 Signature Styles of the Modern Mona Lisa Muses series brings together the areas where I do my best work: design, storytelling, strategy, fashion, and brand communication.
It transforms a simple product feature into something more powerful:
A story people want to see. A character they can identify with. A brand they can discover.
