THE PROJECT
Pattern in Practice explores the relationship between surface, silhouette, and visual identity.
I developed a series of three original textile prints, then translated each pattern onto a distinct contemporary fashion look to explore how color, motif, scale, and texture change when a two-dimensional design becomes part of a garment.
Rather than presenting the prints as isolated swatches, the project treats them as wearable visual systems.
The result is a small fashion-focused textile collection designed to demonstrate both print development and thoughtful application.
THE CONCEPT
What happens when a pattern moves from the page onto the body?

Each print was paired with a distinct garment silhouette to demonstrate versatility, scale, movement, and visual identity while keeping the textile itself at the center of the design.
